Task - Use Movie Maker to edit and publish your stop-motion animation.

EDIT your story

CREATE YOUR FILM

  • Upload your photos to your computer

  • Create a folder and copy photos across

  • Clearly label the folder

  • Open Windows Movie Maker

  • Drag your images from the folder into the timeline.

  • Highlight all photos

  • Click on edit tab, and change duration to 0.1.

  • Press play and watch.

  • Save your Film

ADD MUSIC

Add music to your animation to create emotion and help your audience connect with your story.

Once you have added your photos, you can add background music

1 Click on Add Music button in the Home tab

2. Browse free music archieve for your a music file of your choice (only WHA, MP3, WAV, M4A, AIFF and AIF files are supported).

3. Download and save the music file. 

3. Your music will be placed at the beginning of the timeline.

 

If you want to edit the music click on Music Tools 

You can:

adjust the volume using the slider

adjust the speed using Fade In/Fade out

split the clip into two clips, providing a period with no sound

Adjust the start and end point for the clip.

 

Save your project

ADD TITLE AND CREDITS

Add title

  1. Open your project in Windows Movie Maker

  2. Click on the home tab

  3. Click on where you want to place the title in front of

  4. Click on Title button in the Home tab

  5. Type the text you want to appear

  6. Use the font and paragraph tools to format your text

  7. Adjust the start time and text duration as required

  8. Click on effects to change how the text appears

 

Add CreditS

  1. Click on the home tab

  2. Click the credits button

  3. Type in the names for your credits

  4. Adjust the text duration

  5. Click on the credits card

  6. Adjust the credits duration

 Write a short reflection in your art journal

     

      - what did I/we do well

      - what did I/we need to think more                  about

Share your reflection with your group
