How exciting you are going to watch a live performance.
Before the performance, listen to the teacher as they explain theatre etiquette.
Q What is theatre etiquette?
Seeing a live show in the theatre is very different to going to the movies or watching the television. There is a set of rules to follow which is called etiquette.
Q What is an audience?
An audience is a group of people who watch or listen to a play or performance.
We’ll look at the audience in more detail:
People watch attentively and are engaged in the performance. You praise and encourage with clapping at the end of the performance. You are positive and respectful. You do not be rude.
You may learn some new words as well that we can put on the word wall in the classroom.
